Hillbilly mini golf is one of the original mini golf courses and extreme mini golf courses there are. I have been to Myrtle Beach and all around the coastal states like Florida and Louisiana, but this one is undoubtedly one of a kind. On the left side of the Parkway moments after you get off the spur in Gatlinburg keep an eye out for their sign, because you won't see this course. It's on the side of a mountain over 300 feet up. Fun starts as soon as you get there with great views and something to tell your friends as you hop into a tram that will carry you up the side of a steep slope to the mini golf course of the ages. Be sure to not over shoot the ball on this one, because you will be going to get another ball. Hillbilly Golf has been one of my favorite mini golf courses and I have been to it many times over the last 20 years.

One of the newest mini golf courses in Pigeon Forge, Old Mac Donald's Farm offers two mini golf courses and some challenging holes even for the adults, but not preposterous. Old Mac Donald's mini golf has an updated arcade for some additional activities and is located directly in front of the Tanger Outlet shopping center. You can go shopping and walk right over for a quick 18 holes. If you get hungry it is also in the middle of several restaurants. Ripley's offers several package discounts with their attractions, so this is a great one to add if you plan on seeing Ripley's Aquarium which is one of the best things in Gatlinburg.

Within putting distance of Old Mac Donald's Golf is another great mini golf course in front of Nascar SpeedPark. Fantasy Golf gets great reviews from me and others for fun. Fantasy mini golf is a favorite for the kids and has a handicap accessible Viking course and a slightly more challenging Dragon course. Kids love the fire breathing dragon seen from the Parkway and Nascar SpeedPark with the fastest go-karts available and a huge kid zone is a great place to relax for snacks and games.

Another newer addition to Pigeon Forge's latest attractions is Walden's Landing that has great food and shopping and an innovative movie theatre showing the hottest new releases in 3D. In the middle of Walden Landings is Fire House Golf, a smaller open mini golf course great for any experience level. Bring a hat with you and sun screen, because on sunny days this one gets hot. Firehouse mini golf has two courses that are equally challenging. This mini golf course is in the middle of Pigeon Forge, TN and is easy to find and access by anyone. Surrounded with stores and restaurants, there is plenty to do here for everyone.
