Best Mini Golf Course in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Area
Here are are some of the best mini-golf courses in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area.
Waltz Golf Farm - Limerick, Pennsylvania
Growing up, there were two main mini golf courses we went to. Wood's Golf closed down, leaving Waltz as the best in the northwest suburbs of Philadelphia. Waltz is a great place. In addition to two fantastic mini golf courses, there are also batting cages, chip and putt, driving range, and a near-by full golf course. The two mini golfs are called the Castle Course and the Farm Course. Both are fun, with some challenging holes and great decorations. The Castle Course is a little more, but the prices max out at $7 on holidays, and are cheaper on weekdays. It's a great place to enjoy some quality mini golf, and some ice cream afterward.
Golfland - Voorhees, New Jersey
Golfland features an 18 hole chip and putt, a rarity for the usually 9 hole activity. In addition, the mini golf course is quite good as well. It's old fashioned, which adds to the charm of it. It doesn't have the glamorous decorations that a lot of newer mini golf courses have, but that doesn't mean the holes are a cake walk. The course is fun and fast, and never really gets backed up. It's a great way to enjoy a weeknight, and the course is well shaded so you won't sweat too much in the summer heat.
Fox Meadow - Maple Shade, New Jersey
Fox Meadow is one of the more challenging courses in the area. It's still cheap, maxing out at $8.00 for adults. It's cheaper for kids, and also features group rates. The course has great landscaping, and some interesting decorations without being too over the top. If you enjoy the mini golf, check out the driving range and pro shop, both high in quality. This is a great mini golf course to take your kids too and teach them the ways of golf to see if they might be interested in pursuing the regular game.
