Best Places to Play Miniature Golf in Phoenix

A list of mini golf courses in the Phoenix metro area that are fun and family friendly.

One thing that's always fun to do is golf. It's very prevalent here in the Valley of the Sun. I'm not sure how many golf courses there are, but it's safe to say there are a lot. That being said, golf can be pretty expensive and it isn't exactly kid-friendly. That's where mini golf, or goofy golf as some call it, comes in.

I have played miniature golf many times and it is a blast. No need for a great golf game to have fun. It's a game that the whole family can play. It is relatively inexpensive, so you can take the kids along and have fun at any of these putt-putt golf courses.

Here are some of the best miniature golf courses in Phoenix:

Castles N' Coasters

All four courses in this amusement park feature a full 18-holes. What's nice here is that all have different themes so you're not seeing the same things, with a different setting. They are all outdoors with nice, natural landscaping surrounding you as you play through the fountains and landmarks. It is $8.00 per person with kids 5 and under free. Located at I-17 and Dunlap on the east side of Metro Parkway, it is an easy trip from all over the valley.

Jambo! Indoor Amusement Park

Some days here in Phoenix are just too hot to have fun outdoors. If you want to play mini golf and stay indoors, go to Jamba! They have a miniature golf course which is a single 18-hole, safari-themed course. You will navigate giraffes, lions, hippos, etc. as you try to sink your ball. You will have fun and stay cool. A round of golf costs $6. The Phoenix location is at 32nd street and Cactus.

Golfland Sunsplash

This is a giant water park and amusement park in one. Definitely this is a place to go in the summer. They feature three 18-hole courses, with all having different attractions like fountains, castles, and windmills, you won't be bored here. Pricing is $7.17 for a general admission golf round, with discounts for seniors, children under 12, as well as additional rounds in the same day. It is located in Mesa off the US 60 and Country Club Dr.

Fiddlesticks

Offering two full 18-hole goofy golf courses, Fiddlesticks is an amusement park that you'll be sure to enjoy. As you try to knock in your shot you will enjoy the many features they offer like waterfalls, rivers, and other natural landscaping. Pricing is $7 for 12 and older, $5 for ages 3 to 11. You will find them in Tempe at Hardy and Elliot.
