Crochet Pattern: Fingerless Gloves with Ties
These fingerless gloves are super soft, made with a delicate-looking leaf stitch and accented by shells. The wrist closes with a series of ties that give it a little more "edge" than they'd otherwise have.
The problem with many crochet patterns for fingerless gloves is that they come out looking so masculine. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that if that's the look you're going for. But I'm a girly-girl. I want something soft and pretty, without looking so cute that it belongs on a baby.
These fingerless gloves are super soft, made with a delicate-looking leaf stitch and accented by shells. The wrist closes with a series of ties that give it a little more "edge" than they'd otherwise have. And best of all, the entire pattern is done in single crochet which means that it's easy for someone learning to crochet and extremely quick for the more advanced crochet artist.
Crochet Fingerless Gloves with Ties
Materials:
3 oz. Baby (DK) Weight Yarn (Bernat Softee Baby was used for the model)
Size F/5-3.75 mm crochet hook
Small length of ribbon or nylon cording (The kind for cross stitch is perfect)
Size:
Small - pre-teen through adult
Medium - teen through adult
Large - adult
Notes:
Pattern is worked in rows from the arm to the wrist. At the wrist, begin rounds. Pattern is written for the smallest size, with changes (where applicable) in parenthesis.
