The story of Susan Boyle took another less than fairy tale like turn, after reports that she got herself hospitalized for exhaustion after losing "Britain's Got Talent" Now concerns are even greater about how well Boyle can cope with superstardom.
Boyle's finale performance was not quite enough to win Britain's Got Talent, thanks to the dancing troupe Diversity. But the main reason Britain's Got Talent got such a big audience for the finale was Boyle, who made the show into a must-see as the phenomenon of the world.
Boyle said all the right things after her final performance of her famed "I Dreamed A Dream" cover did not win. But according to Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan, Boyle had to get herself hospitalized for exhaustion after the show went off the air.
Boyle's exhaustion was evident to many before getting hospitalized due to the long wait for the finale performance, the pressures of newfound fame, and gossip columns accusing her of having meltdowns.
