Tiger Woods Hits Fire Hydrant in Car Crash; Was Wife Trying to Hit Him with Golf Club?
This article is about a car wreck that involved Tiger Woods.
MyFoxwassau.com has posted an article titled "TMZ: Tiger, wife argued before crash."
We should look at the way the issue is reported initially.
Tiger Woods was apparently injured as a result of hitting a fire hydrant. Initially the injuries were reported as "serious."
Quickly there was follow-up information that said he was released and "not serious."
Then there was a new spin. His wife, Elin Nordegren, was thought to possibly have attacked Tiger with a golf club because he was allegedly having with an affair and she found out about it.
They have two children together.
The police wanted to find out more about it but when they went to Tiger's home his wife said he was sleeping.
So now we get certain questions. Was Tiger Woods given special treatment at the hospital? Further should the police have insisted they be allowed to talk to Woods? After all, who knows what condition he was in and perhaps his wife had injured him.
However, in agreement with his wife they said they would come back and let him rest. Was he getting "special treatment?"
The question is would this story even make the news if it wasn't Tiger Woods? And, the answer is probably "No." It certainly wouldn't be as "in depth."
You know we are a nation full of narcissists. That is probably a good thing, right? After all, if we have plenty of time and energy to worry about the life of Tiger Woods then we must be in pretty good shape.
As it turns out, if Elin Nordegren was chasing Tiger Woods, she had a change of heart because she apparently used the golf club to smash the back window of his car to help him get out rather than to smash Tiger.
What do we learn from a story such as this?
You can be the world's greatest golfer and still be in trouble with your wife or, you can still hit a fire hydrant.
Whatever you do you will always make the news and no matter how bizarre or mundane your actions or life people will be glad to read about it.
