Brian Schweberger Crowned Champion at Archdale-Trinity Chamber of Commerce Disc Golf Open

Here are the results of the Archdale-Trinity Chamber of Commerce Disc Golf Open that took place in North Carolina over the weekend of June 9-10, 2020.

As he usually does, Schweberger has already captured quite a few victories this year, including the Bayville Spring Pro/Am Ace Run Shootout, the Ace Run Shootout and the Loriella Challenge. Following Schweberger in second place was the 2020 PDGA Rookie of the Year, Ricky Wysocki from Fort Mill, S.C. scoring 49-under par.

Jeremy Koling of Charlotte, N.C. took third place with a final score of 48-under par and distance record holder David Wiggins, Jr. of High Point N.C. captured fourth place scoring 47-under par while Josh Childs of Harlem, Ga. finished in fifth place with a final score of 46-under par.

Five-time Women's World Champion, Elaine King of Durham, N.C. was crowned champion in the women's open division scoring 25-under par.

The masters division win went to Brian McRee of Louisburg, N.C. with a final score of 43-under par while Dan Lambeth, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C. won the advanced division scoring 34-under par. It was Debbie Scott of Charlotte who captured the win in the division for the women with a final score of 23-over par.

Scoring 16-under par to win the advanced masters division was Bill Yandell of High Point, N.C. and Tony Tomasino of Raleigh won the advanced grandmasters division with a final score of 3-under par.

Finally, John Mickelson of New Bern, N.C. won the intermediate division and Ryan Wehrenberg of Roxboro, N.C. captured the win in the recreational division.
