Looking for cheap golf course, yet have a high quality experience? Look no further than Winter Park Pines! Whether you are on vacation or a local, WPP has what you are looking for.
This course also can be affordable for even during peak periods, charging less than $25 and lower for a well maintained course. The course also is conveniently located in Orlando/Winter Park area.WPP does allow you the walk or ride, which for some can be a blessing and a curse -- so take that into account.
As you approach the first hole, do not be nervous as your swing is scrutinized by all of the onlookers. This is a great hole to birdie on, if you can take a deep breath and focus on the green. If you miss this opportunity, know that you can have an opportunity to eagle on the seventh hole. This hole is a short par five, with no real "danger' on the green. Get ready to tweet "victory to all of your friends.
At the ninth hole, after you have completed your shot, you may be looking for a bite to eat. May I suggest the $4 hot dog special at the clubhouse? It comes with a drink and chips for one low price. That way, when I tell my wife that I am golfing, she won't roll her eyes at how expensive it is...I show her how I save money...you know for more balls, spikes and whatever I else might need that day.
Working your way through the back nine, the most challenging hole is the fourteenth. All I can say is do not under any circumstance challenge the bunker....trust me I have learned my lesson. The rest of the holes are picturesque and easy. They great for collecting your thoughts and enjoying your "me" time.
All in all, Winter Park Pines is a great course for the value. It's is very popular (one of the most heavily played courses in the USA), so call ahead to get your tee time. Hope to see you there real soon!
